Todays is a small update to make a few usability tweaks based on user feedback (you know how we love user feedback!). Changes include: Adding a new merge field for "Colour Scheme List - Vertical"; and Changing the behaviour of "Additional Improvements" so they are all UNselected by default when creating a new contract

- Version 1.0.1 🚀
We're very excited to release our first first update since our product launch, and oh boy is it a big one! Check out this list of awesome new features: Big Stuff A new contract "Auto Process" function that automatically moves a contract from party to party as needed during the signing process; including Email notifications to all parties throughout the signing process as needed Ability to set authorised signatories for vendors Ability to set the signing order for vendors A new "Status" panel that shows where a contract is in its journey A new feature to specify when a deposit has been received for a contract A new Task bar on the dashboard for law firm users with improved options Small Stuff Unit number column added to the Sales Schedule When uploading "paper contracts", the widgets and statistics now update accordingly New merge fields for "Initial Deposit", and "Deposit less Initial Deposit" New merge fields for the buyers ABN and ACN An option to turn on/off the ID Verification feature at the project level Enhanced purchaser tenancy to support unequal tenants in common Cool right? Keep reading to learn about these changes in a bit more detail. 😉 Auto Process The new Auto Process feature is awesome - it allows you to configure the journey you want your contracts to take, at the project level, including email notifications, authorised signatories, and even "check points" where you can confirm contract conditions have been met before releasing it to the next step. Once you send your contract for signing its progress is tracked via the new "Status" panel, this panel is visible for law firm, developer and agent users - so everyone will always know where a contract is in its journey. Confirm Deposit Confirm receipt of deposit directly from the contracts list, this can also be seen (but not updated) by developer and agent users keeping everyone in the loop. This enhancement has allowed us to improve the "Sales & Deposits" widget, which now shows the deposits received, and what is still "Pending". Tasks Bar The new "Tasks" bar has been enhanced and now includes the following options: Contracts to sign under POA Contracts pending confirmation of deposit Contracts pending final confirmation Special conditions awaiting review and approval Clicking on any of the numbers will take you to the items thats you need to action. Like what you see? Why not get in touch and we can show you in more detail how OPEX can supercharge your project sales!
- Version 1.0.1.1 🚀
It feels like only last week that we did an update to OPEX... ah, it was! Now that we've got people uploading files of all sorts of shapes and sizes we realised we could improve their experience by adding an upload "progress bar" - this is especially handy for large files which can take a few minutes to upload. So we did! 😆 Upload Progress Bar When uploading PDF's for "Paper Contracts" or "Contract Elements", a progress bar will give you accurate feedback on the uploads progress. Other Improvements We also made a bunch of other small improvements as part of this release. Including: Don't generate the ID PDF when the "ID Verification" is disabled Added the "Unit Number" to the "Sales Schedule" export Projects can now have the hash ("#") character in their name Validation improvements Agent user tweaks User creation tweaks
- Version 1.0.1.3 🥳
In todays update we squeeze in some big planned features, some polishing of existing features and a number of things that YOU suggested - because that's how we roll. 😎 Here's a summary of what's included in this release: Stop using "sales advice" documents! Agents can now create a contract of sale, and submit it to you for review. When reviewing or signing a contract, purchasers and their solicitors can now download a PDF copy of the contract. (there are settings for this, see below) A new option has been added to skip sending the contract to the purchaser solicitor. (there are some rules on this one, see below) Where there are multiple contracts against one lot, and one of those contracts is exchanged - the other contracts are now automatically rejected. Special conditions can now be edited, or removed from a contract that is in a draft state. The "Power of Attorney" string is now automatically added to the signature panel when you're signing under a POA. Digital Sales Advice Stop "double handling" contract data by allowing your agents to create contracts 😲 (stay with me here). Once they have added all their buyer and contract details they'll submit the contract to YOU for review. Once you review it (and fix any typeos) you can send the contract to the purchaser. Download Contract as a PDF Does the buyers solicitor want to download the contract as a PDF? No problem, tick the box in Project Settings to allow the contract to be downloaded as a PDF by the buyer, and/or the buyers solicitor. Skip the Purchaser Solicitor Need to send the contract directly to the purchaser, 🫣 bypassing their solicitor all together? Now you can, so long as there are no signature panels in the contract for the purchaser solicitor. (eg: If there is an s66w in your contract, then this option will not be available) Power of Attorney String When you're signing under POA, the "Power of Attorney" string on the Vendors/Sellers screen will automatically populate on the top of your signature panel.
- Version 1.0.1.2 🚀
Not all updates need to be HUGE with mind-blowing features, we'd prefer to deliver improvements to you as quickly as we can - even if that means lots of point releases - like this one. Our little 1.0.1.2 release adds the following features: Return a contract to a "Draft" state after it has been issued (so long as no one has signed it of course); and Delete contracts that are in a "Draft" state While not super exciting, these small changes will allow you to make adjustments to your contracts if the buyers lawyer requests them... and to delete any "Oops!" contracts you might create.
- Version 1.0.1.5 🤩
Sometimes things don't go to plan. You may discover something is wrong with a contract after a purchaser has signed it, maybe there is a spelling mistake in their name, or perhaps the address provided on the sales advice wasn't correct. It happens. So what do you do? Sure, you can issue a new contract - but who has time for that. Instead we've introduced a change that allows you to return a contract to a draft status even if someone has signed it. Yes, even if it has a signature on it. Hear us out... You'll now see a "Return to Draft" button for all contracts, in any state except "Draft" and "Exchanged". When returning a contract to draft with signatures on it, you'll be warned that returning the contract to draft will remove all signatures and reset the contract back to its original state - this allows you to make your changes without having to re-enter all the data, and just shoot it back to the purchaser. Who then just re-signed and submits the contract. This change saves you time, and maintains the integrity of the signing process. It's a win-win. 😄
- Version 1.0.1.4 🤗
In this update we tweaked a number of features based on your feedback, and added a new option in project settings. Here's a summary of what's included in this release: A new option in project settings that forces all contracts to be sent directly to the vendors lawyer for signature under POA - this removes the need for the vendor to login to approve contracts Guarantors can now have the same email address as a purchaser, and when they do can sign as both the purchaser and guarantor in a single session Initials panels are no longer automatically added to 'additional attachments' in contracts The purchaser solicitor "Fax" field has been replaced with a "Phone" field, and the merge data updated accordingly New POA Setting Have a vendor that wants you to take care of business and doesn't want to hear from you until the project is all sold? Have we got the solution for you! Simply turn on the new project setting called "Send contracts directly to the Seller Solicitor for signing under POA" and contracts will come to you as soon as they're signed by the buyer - ready for execution under power of attorney.
- Version 1.0.1.6 😆
In this update we enhanced the "Additional Improvements" for projects, made the power of attorney signing more flexible and added a few other tweaks. Here's a summary of what's included in this release: Add your own "Additional Improvements" to a project Our "Input Fields" have been enhanced, we now have two versions so you can specify which user type can add text in the fields "Text Input (Purchaser)"; and "Text Input (Vendor) The "Short Description" of a contract element now shows in the contract preview An option was added to the "Sellers" to prevent specified authorised signatories from receiving emails The power of attorney signing was enhanced so you can partially sign under POA (eg: you can sign on behalf of one vendor, then send it to another to obtain their signature) Text Inputs You'll now find two "Text Input" fields, these allow you to specify where you want input from a buyer, or from the vendor. Additional Improvements You can now add your own user defined "Additional Improvements" to a project.
- Version 1.0.1.7.1 ↕️
In todays update we've introduced a new merge field called "Improvements List - Vertical", which allows you to now choose between having your improvements list as a horizontal string, or a vertical list. The new vertical option is especially handy for projects with a long list of improvement options. 😉
- Version 1.0.1.7 🇦🇺
In this update we added support for all Australian states, made "lot numbers" editable and, as always, added a number of user requested features and tweaks. Here's a summary of what's included in this release: Create a project in any state of Australia Edit lot numbers for a project (they don't have to start from "1"), and support for alpha numeric characters A button that allows users to download a PDF copy of the contract from the contract preview screen (the button is under the 'status' panel) The ability to change the master contract template for an issued contract (so long as no one has signed it, including an audit log of the changes) An update to the default s127 string A new setting that allows developer users see contracts of any status (except "Draft") Removal of the "Via Email" button when sending a contract (as we've moved to the auto process method now) A new setting to enforce signatures from purchaser solicitors All States You can now create a project in any state in Australia! 🇦🇺 Download Button Click the "Download" button under a contracts status panel to get the latest PDF version of the contract - if someone has signed the contract, their signatures will be included in the PDF. 😉 Contract Template Version So you've issued your contract to the purchasers, then you get an updated copy of the plans. Perfect timing. 🙄 Now you can upload the new plans as a contract element, publish a new version of a master contract and swap out the contract template without having to re-issue the contract . 🥳 OPEX will also record who made the change, and when for full transparency. ...there is just one caveat, there must be no signatures on the contract. If someone has signed it, all bets are off.
