This update introduces several significant features focused on security, workflow management, and user functionality across the OPEX platform.
Microsoft Entra ID Support
New — The platform now supports Microsoft's enterprise authentication system (formerly "Active Directory"), enabling:
- Mandatory Microsoft account login for firm users.
- Support for Microsoft-configured multi-factor authentication.
- Optional allowlisting of specific users for OPEX native accounts.
- Enhanced system security.
Contract Approval Workflow
New — Two new pre-send approval stages were added, allowing internal firm review and client approval before vendor submission.
Notification Management
New — Users can now specify notification recipients directly within contract flowcharts, streamlining communication workflows.
Updated Dashboards
Improved — All user-type and project dashboards were redesigned to improve visibility of signature and approval requirements, including a new "Awaiting Signature" dashboard available at firm and project levels.
Agent User Enhancements
New — Agent users gained access to:
- Project contract version changes
- Draft contract deletion
- Variation issuance (with configurable project settings)
- Draft contract restoration
Minor Updates
- New — Developer users may be designated as authorised signatories without account activation.
- Improved — Address field no longer required for general document signing.
- New — "Variation Date" merge field for document templates.
